These mittens where made for my lovely daughter in law, Nina, to go with her grey jacket and red scarf. My daughter bought a red jacket and wanted a pair of mittens. She could not find the right ones. She did not want them too colour full. She did not want then in black, that would be too boring. She did not want white, that would make her look like the danish flag. I designed and knitted these mittens for her for christmas and she likes them. Christmas Socks

Here is a chart for the christmas pattern. You can use any basic sock pattern that uses 60 stiches. When you knit pictures on socks, you have to take care not to get the picture up-side-down. The first download is the pdf-file with the colour chart for handknitting, the next download is a stp-file for machine knitters who uses Designaknit. Socks With Windowsill

Here is a chart for the windowsill. You can use any basic sock pattern that uses 60 stiches. When you knit pictures on socks, you have to take care not to get the picture up-side-down. The socks are knitted in 4-ply sock yarn. (210 m =50 g). The lace pattern is simple and easy to knit. You will soon learn it by heart. The socks are very popular around here.
